Rules for entering the archive.
These terms govern access to Motive & Mischief’s fictional interactive investigations.

Using the service
You must be at least 16, or have permission from a parent or guardian, to use the service. Information you provide must be accurate and you may not disrupt, scrape, reverse engineer or misuse the site.
Fictional entertainment
The cases, people, businesses, evidence and events are fictional. Similarity to real people or events is coincidental. The service is entertainment, not law-enforcement, legal or forensic training.
Purchases
Paid cases are one-time digital purchases at the price shown during checkout. Polar processes purchases as merchant of record, including applicable taxes and payment confirmation. A purchase grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to play the case with your household or invited group.
What you may not do
You may not resell, publish, share publicly, reproduce or distribute case files, solutions, recordings, source code or other protected materials. You may share ordinary screenshots or reactions that do not reveal solutions or substantial parts of a case.
Availability and refunds
We may maintain, update or discontinue features when reasonably necessary. If a paid case is materially defective or inaccessible, contact support. Refund requests are handled under our Refund Policy.
Intellectual property and feedback
Motive & Mischief and its cases, writing, designs, software, images and audio are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. If you send feedback, you allow us to use it to improve the service without identifying you or owing compensation.
Disclaimers and responsibility
The service is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
